| DONALD JOHN
KOESTLER,
age 75, and a 20 year resident of El Paso, died June 25, 2004. He was
born in Kohler, Wisconsin of Joseph and
Lillian
(Bogenschneider) Koestler, who
preceded him in death. Three sisters, Betty,
Lillian and
Dorothy, also preceded him in death. He was married 54 years to his
loving wife, Shirley, who survives him. Born to them were Kathleen,
(Indianapolis); Diane, (Wheaton, IL.) and John of Stephenson, WA.,
twin granddaughters of Wheaton, IL. also survive him. Donald served in
the Occupation Army in Japan after WWII, and was a graduate Electrical
Engineer, working for G.E. for 40 years. He retired 12 years ago.
Donald was a lifetime Christian and a member of Mt. Hope Lutheran
Church for 20 years. Family will receive friends at 9:30 am with a
funeral service at 10:00 am Friday, July 2, 2004 at Mt. Hope Lutheran
Church, 9640 Montwood Drive, El Paso, Texas 79925. Memorial donations
can be made to Mt. Hope Lutheran Church for landscape plantings.
Donald will be missed by all who knew him. Services entrusted to
