Services: A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 28
at 11:00 a.m. at St. Peters Ev. Lutheran Chuch in Theresa with the Rev.
Jon A. Learman officiating.
Visitation: A visitation will be held on Thursday, January 27
from 4:00 pm -7:00 pm at the Koepsell Funeral Home in Mayville and also
on Friday, January 28, from 10am until the time of the service at 11 am
at the church.
Phyllis Bogenschneider, age 83, of Lomira, WI passed away on
Saturday, January 22, 2011 at St. Agnes Hospital in Fond du Lac, with
her family at her side.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 28 at 11:00 a.m. at
St. Peters Ev. Lutheran Chuch in Theresa with the Rev. Jon A. Learman
officiating. A visitation will be held on Thursday, January 27 from 4:00
pm -7:00 pm at the Koepsell Funeral Home in Mayville and also on Friday,
January 28, from 10am until the time of the service at 11 am at the
church. Burial will take place at Union Cemetery in Theresa.
Phyllis was born the daughter of Albert and Leona (Villwock) Weiss on
July 19, 1927 in Tn. Willamstown. Phyllis was a 1945 graduate of
Mayville High School. She was united in marriage with Willard H.
Bogenschneider on October 11, 1947 at St. John Ev. Lutheran church in
Mayville. Together with her husband, Phyllis farmed in the Tn. Theresa.
Phyllis was a member St. Peter’s Ev. Lutheran Church in Theresa. She was
also a member of the St. Peter’s Ladies Aid and the Theresa American
Legion Auxiliary Post #270
Phyllis is survived by her son; Lonn (Linda) Bogenschneider of Theresa,
3 daughters; Lyra (Dave) Dalle Nogare of Brownsville, Lynn (Kevin) Haefs
of Lomira, Lona (special friend Chris Thelen) Schaefer of Sheboygan. 2
brothers; Earl (Geraldine) Weiss of Iron Ridge and Gerald Weiss of
Horicon. 1brother-in-law; Harvey (Frieda) Bogenschneider of Lomira.12
grandchildren; Barry Bogenschneider, Brad (Kerrie) Bogenschneider, Tammy
(Tony) Hidde, Mark Bogenschneider, Jennifer (Jeffrey) Schmieder, Patrick
Dalle Nogare, Nicholas Dalle Nogare, Josh (Colleen) Haefs, Carisa
(Christopher) Thompson, Cody Schaefer, Cameron Schaefer, Ky Schaefer and
9 great grandchildren, further survived by nieces, nephews, other
relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband in 1999, 1
daughter Lori, and 1 great grandchild.
