Services: A funeral service for Harvey will take place on Saturday, July 23 at 11 am at St. Paul Ev. Lutheran Church (Halfway Church) Tn. Lomira with the Reverend Matthew Kuske officiating.

Visitation: A visitation will take place on Friday, July 22 from 4 until 8 pm at the Koepsell Funeral Home in Mayville, WI and also on Saturday, July 23 from 10 am until the time of the service at 11 am at the church.

Harvey H. Bogenschneider, age 90, formally of Theresa, WI, passed away on Monday, July 18, 2011 at the Hope Health and Rehabilitation Center in Lomira, WI.

A visitation will take place on Friday, July 22 from 4 until 8 pm at the Koepsell Funeral Home in Mayville, WI and also on Saturday, July 23 from 10 am until the time of the service at 11 am at the church. Interment will take place at St. Paul Cemetery, Tn. Lomira.

Harvey was born on December 20, 1920, the son of Alvin and Elsie (nee Krueger) Bogenschneider in Tn. Theresa. He was united in marriage to Elfrieda Musack on October 23, 1943 at St. Paul Ev. Lutheran Church, Tn. Lomira. Harvey was a lifelong mechanic who also owned Harvey’s Service for 18 years. He also worked as the Town of Theresa Highway Superintendant.

He was a member of St. Paul Ev. Lutheran Church, Tn. Lomira, where he served as past president of the Church Council. Harvey was also a member of the Theresa Fire Department for 52 years where he served as Fire Chief from 1965 to 1969. He was also a charter member of the Theresa Lions Club and also served on the Theresa Village Board. In his spare time, Harvey enjoyed nature while hunting, fishing, and feeding his birds. His greatest love was spending time with his friends and family.

Harvey is survived by his wife; Elfrieda. His children; Dennis (Lorna) Bogenschneider of Theresa, WI., Craig (Judy) Hahn of Theresa, WI., Robert (Darcy) Bogenschneider of Theresa, WI. Grandchildren; Tina (Aaron) Croft of Derby, KS, Kay Bogenschneider of Brillion, WI., Traci (Bill) Kertscher of Fond du Lac, WI., Tim (Angie) Hahn of Merrill, WI. Tammy (Special Friend, Kevin) Stelter of Fond du Lac, WI., Travis (Susie) Hahn of LeRoy, WI., Heidi (Fiancé Nick) Bogenschneider of Green Bay, WI., Mike (Speical Friend, Jen) Bogenschneider of Haugen, WI., 11 great grandchildren, 3 step-great grandchildren, further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, 1 brother Willard and his wife Phyllis, His brother and sister in law; Fred and Verna Giese.
