Below is genealogical information on various Bogenschneider family groupings that have been compiled from a variety of sources, but primarily from microfilm of church records filmed by the Church of the Latter Day Saints.  Please advise the webmaster of any needed corrections, additions or other family groupings that you may be able to provide.  It is hoped that with the efforts of the entire Bogenschneider family we will be able to create as complete a Bogenschneider genealogical tree as possible.

The Earliest Bogenschneiders

  • David Bagenschneider, born about 1690 in the city of Stettin, Pomerania (today Szczecin, Poland). It is believed that his grandson David Benjamin changed the name from Bagenschneider to Bogenschneider. David was a wine and brandy maker.
