  • Pommerscher Verein - Central Wisconsin,  is a sister organization of the Pommerscher Verein Freistadt, and was formed in 1994. The group is engaged in Pommern genealogy and history with an emphasis on the Platt Deutsch language. They have sponsored numerous events including Pommern "Roots" Tours and produce a quarterly newsletter. E-mail queries should be sent to Donald D.   • The Pommern Regional Group of Minnesota, another sister organization, has scheduled meetings on the 4th Tuesday of each month, at 6:30 to 9:30 pm.  Their group is committed to the preservation of Pomeranian history and to assist its members in genealogical research.   Meetings are held at: Minnesota Genealogy Society Library, 5768 Olson Memorial Highway, Golden Valley, MN 55422.
